Bar code technology is an integral part of
our real time information system. We use it to identify and track all movements of goods within our warehouse. Fixed, portable and vehicle mounted bar code readers transmit real time information via radio frequency data communications equipment on goods being handled anywhere in the warehouse. |

In addition, all storage and retrieval of
goods is performed by computer directed equipment,
providing a throughput of up to 160 pallets per hour. With customer satisfaction in mind, the Districentre can use the customer's own bar code system to allow for specific tracking of shipments where cargo is picked and delivered on a "first in, first out" or any other basis. |

To ensure the security of cargo, closed-circuit TVs have been installed around the warehouse, with security guards on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |  |
